Does this look dirty to you?

If you are a Naked fan you hopefully will know by now that we are committed to making small changes that can make a difference to our environment to try and slow down the impact that we are all having on Mother Nature.

One of our recent initiatives has been to introduce bottles that are made from plastic that has already been recycled, rather than using newly produced plastic. In the packaging world this is called 100% Post Consumer Regrind (PCR) plastic.  We introduced this into over one third of the range pre-Christmas so  all of our foam baths, handwashes and the Manuka Honey Hand Lotion have also been put  into recycled plastic bottles. Look out for the Born Again logos on pack.

However, this plastic is not perfect and can have a slightly discoloured tinge to it.  You won't notice on most of our products, but on the Manuka Honey Hand Lotion it is a bit more obvious because  the lotion is white and so shows the flaws in the bottle.  We think that it's what's inside that counts, so we don't think it matters and, after all, none of us are perfect either.  We are hoping that others in the beauty industry might pick up on this mindset fairly soon and may also follow suit - after all, the more brands that start to use recycled bottles the better for all of us in the long run. Imperfection shouldn't be seen as a weakness.

So, this bottle may look dirty, but actually it's really clean.
