Excited to find shampoo that was kind to my hair and fellow animals I snapped this shampoo up with the matching conditioner. The first wash went well and my longgggg hair looked good, not great but still fine.... After that It went down hill. Would NOT rinse out of my hair and left it looking greasier than before. I contacted naked and was brushed off with me being their only complaint pretty much. I checked my shower pressure, had it fixed and assumed it was my fault due to that so bought another bottle for after this one (silly me) except along with the conditioner for limp hair and tried again with the remainder of first bottle. BIG MISTAKE my hair is now coated in dry shampoo in an attempt to de-gross it for a night out. Have a full bottle that was a waste and no closer to finding animal friendly hair products. SIGH!
I have been using Naked hair products for over a year now and have tried several shampoos which I have been happy with.
This time I decided to try the colour protect shampoo for my highlighted shampoo. Well I don't know whether I have an off batch or whether the formulation has changed but I found this shampoo very difficult, if not impossible to use. It is a very thick gel consistency which meant that firstly it is very difficult to squeeze out of the bottle and secondly it is difficult to distribute through your hair and to get any form of lather. After several weeks of trying I have found the only way to use it is to mix with water in a small bottle before applying to my hair. Even then I have not been able to get enough lather to satisfactorily wash all of my hair without it ending up a tangled mess.
Sorry Naked, I like your other products but this really does not work for me.

Blondes, Brunettes in my household all use this and its partner conditioner as it keeps the colour fresh, without the residue that products like Tigi load upon the hair.
Always in my Naked stash and have to admit I have used this and other Naked shampoos as shower gel by mistake with no adverse effects... tis a shame when u get old n cant see so well!
When I used this or the first time, and I had dried my hair, I was shocked to find the sections behind my ears and underneath my ponytail were greasy and dirty. I thought it might have a been a case of not using enough shampoo or not rinsing it out properly, so I made sure I did so on the second wash, however the same thing occurred even worse than before.
I was so happy to have found an affordable shampoo for coloured hair that was not tested on animals, but I will have to go back to my regular brand as I feel disgusting.
Bought these for my holidays as I had just coloured my hair, the smell is amazing and you really get a good foam going. Hair felt lovely and soft afterwards and really did shine! Well done Naked :)
I bought your Colour Protect shampoo and conditioner on a 2 for 1 special at Boots and absolutely love what it has done to my hair. It used to be quite dry on the ends and look really dull but in a matter of weeks it has become soft, shiny and it actually feels stronger
