My Pick Of Blue Cosmetics
Blue isn’t a colour that I wear a lot of but I seem to really enjoy it in cosmetics. The other day I wore a great liquid eyeliner by ARTDECO and received compliments all day while I was out, so I wanted to check out what else is out there in the great blue yonder. Blue is certainly a great shade to have in your stash for summer, so have a look at what’s caught my eye and let me know what you think. And have you seen something out there that you feel I need to know about?
This little palette is from Collection and I have the black version of it and think this blue one would be great for summer. I think I’m a bit in love with the purple one too. You get three light shades, two medium shades, three dark ones and a highlighter that you can use to create different looks, there’s even a guide on the back to show you how to apply it. You can buy this palette, and the three other shades, for £3.99 from Superdrug I’ve picked out this shadow as it’s a super nice shade of blue that also plays into pastels trend around for SS14. I’ve used a few glo-minerals products, including eyeshadows, and I always like them. The colour payoff is always great and, especially with a shade like this, that’s important. You can buy this shadow and over 20 other shades for £13 from www.glo-minerals.com
Now I have a Smashbox Always Sharp Liner in 3D Neptune and I love these liners. I currently have the nude one and you can read the review here, but I really do want more of the colours as they’re brilliant, apply easy, last and are…always sharp. The key is in the lid which sharpens the end when you turn the bottom for more product. There’s a few reviews out there saying that their product was broken, but I think they were wrong. I thought the same at first and then realised to get more product out you need to have the lid on. You should check these out though as they’re super cool and great for a night out. You can buy them for £16 from Boots and online.
