GOSH SS14 COLLECTION
The other night I attended the GOSH Press Event for their latest collection of SS14 products and now I get to report back to you all on my findings! Enjoy!
First up we get to say Happy Birthday to Superdrug as it’s their 50th birthday this year and to celebrate this we have three new polishes from GOSH; Frosted Soft Pink, Frosted Soft Blue and Frosted Soft Green. Alongside these are three other Frosted Polishes; Frosted Rose, Frosted Soft Coral and Frosted Plum. All six shades are stunning but my faves have to the Frosted Plum and the Frosted Rose, The plum is a lovely deep purple with a textured finished and the Frosted Rose is a dusky pink with a glitter finish that makes your nails look like they’ve been dusted with diamonds.
Moving on to eyes now, we have the new Forever Eyeshadow Sticks and I was seriously impressed with these! As my duty as a beauty blogger, I daubed all the shadows available onto the back of hand. Now, me being me, I totally forgot about this and went off to Meat Market and ate dinner and then came home sat about and went to bed with the lines still on my hand. In the morning they were still there! The sticks apply in a much smoother and softer way to others I’ve tried and they were really well pigmented too! I’m seriously going to have to get all the shades, which are; Silver Rose, Beige, Light Copper, Brown, Grey, Plum, Blue and (my fave) Green. Lips time and we have not one but two products; Velvet Touch Lipstick and Lip Lacquer. The new lipsticks come in 8 new shades Innocent, Romance, Precious, Yours Forever, Boheme, Delicious, Sweetheart and Nude and I have five of them here for swatchy fun! The lip lacquers I really like and they remind me a little of the Rimmel Apocalips glosses. They come in eight shades; Innocent Lips, Lovely Lips, Sweet Lips, Flirty Lips, Crispy Lips (yeah, I don’t get that one either), Funky Lips, Hot Lips and Dangerous Lips. I got my little hands on five of these to slather about the backs of my hands for your delight!
To finish off your look you might want to reach for the new Prime’N Set Powder; a primer and mattifying setting powder in one. The powder minimises the look of pores, fine lines, redness and imperfections and can be used on its own, as a primer or over your foundation to help create that airbrushed look. It’s great to have these two powders all in one, cutting down on the amount of make up I haul around with me. I love anything that reduces shine too
