I haven't received all of my order.

We are really sorry for any disappointment! Please make sure you have removed all packaging in your parcel to ensure the item isn't hiding (or wearing a cunning disguise). If the item is definitely missing please contact us at reach.us@nakedbodycare.co.uk and we will look into it immediately.

 

When will an item be back in stock?

We hate out of stock issues as much as you! Another fan may have got their hands on it before you, but we are usually back in stock within 5 days. If you are still experiencing difficulties getting your mitts on our Naked goodies drop us a line at reach.us@nakedbodycare.co.uk and we will look into it.

 

Where is my order?

  • Orders are delivered by Royal Mail in 5-7 working days.
  • We may courier your parcel if it's a large order. If you are not at home, the courier will leave a calling card so make sure you’ve checked under the doormat or ask the dog if they ate it. Please call the number and arrange a suitable time and day for redelivery.
  • If you just couldn’t wait and requested express service you are guaranteed a next day delivery for orders placed by 12 noon Monday-Friday.
  • If your order is overdue, please let us know and we'll get to the bottom of it.



How do I return my products?

Where is my refund?

You will receive a confirmation email regarding your refund. Please allow 14 days for the payment to be processed.

Where can I buy Naked?

All Naked products can be bought from www.nakedbodycare.com. Naked washing and bathing is available in selected Boots and Waitrose stores. Hair care, styling, kids, mini and mama are exclusively available from most large Boots stores.

 

Whilst we regularly chat with our friends at Boots, we don’t necessarily know exactly which products are stocked in each store. If you need more specific information call those guys directly and pick their brains:

I'm pregnant are your products safe to use?

Oh how exciting! Here’s how it works, many of our products contain small amounts of essential oils in a dilute form. This means they are not classified as aromatherapy products and carry no associated pregnancy warnings. If you are concerned then please seek medical advice from your GP or midwife just to be on the safe side.

 

However, Naked mama contains no essential oils and is specifically designed for you and your cute bump.

How long should I keep a product for?

If a product is unopened the shelf life is around 3 years. Make sure you keep it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight (not that we get much here). Once opened and stored correctly you'll need to refer to the ‘period after opening' symbol on the back of the label. This is a diagram of an open jar with a number next to it. This refers to the number of months the product will last after opening provided it's properly closed and stored after each use. We figure you'll love Naked products so much they won't last you that long anyway!

 

Are your products vegetarian/vegan friendly?

We’re a friendly bunch ourselves so we try to ensure this is reflected in our products. All our products are suitable for vegetarians and most are vegan friendly. The products that are not suitable for vegans are:

  • Coco de Mer Body Butter
  • Smooth Silky Shampoo
  • Shine Hydrating Shampoo
  • Shine Hydrating Conditioner
  • Colour Protection Conditioner
  • Volume Body Building Conditioner
  • Heat Defender Heat Protection Spray
  • Mama Stretch Mark Cream

 

These contain either honey, beeswax or milk derivatives.

 

Do you test your products on animals?

Certainly not! Naked is never tested on animals and we operate a Fixed Cut Off Policy from 2000 on our ingredients.

 

Why don’t you use the leaping bunny logo?

The BUAV (British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection) charge a fee to use the bunny logo and this is quite considerable for a small brand like Naked. We are proud to offer natural products at affordable prices, and we never test on animals.

 

Do you use Palm Oil in your products, if so is this sustainably sourced?

Palm oil and palm oil derivatives are extremely common ingredients in toiletries, in fact they are almost impossible to avoid. Everyone uses it, from the big guys to the little guys. Naked recognises that the cultivation of Palm oil can have an environmental impact on eco-sensitive areas. Our suppliers are working with The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) which enables manufacturers to purchase ‘palm oil certificates’ for sustainable, responsibly sourced palm oil or ‘green palm’. As manufacturers generally purchase ingredients which contain palm oil, they may not have traceability on where the oil is from. The RSPO provides a way that manufacturers can ‘offset’ the purchase of other palm oils and contribute to the work of the RSPO in promoting sustainability.We are delighted to confirm that in partnership with our key suppliers, Naked has purchased green palm certificates to offset more than 12 months of our requirements for palm oil in our products.This is a small step, but we think it’s in the right direction!

 

Why don’t your products lather as much as other brand?

Sulphates (or SLS) are often added to make products foam. Naked is sulphate free and uses alternative natural detergents that are just as effective for cleaning your bod and hair. The trick is to add plenty of water and make sure you store the product at room temperature. Many people associate foaming properties with cleansing but these two things are not related. So don’t worry Naked is still good for a bit of rub-a-dub-dubbing!

 

Is Naked silicone free?

Naked styling, skincare, washing and bathing, kids, mama and mini are all silicone free.

Are your products pH neutral?

All our products are close to neutral; however skin type and local water can significantly affect pH so we don’t state this on our labelling.

 

Do your products contain synthetic fragrances?

At Naked we use both natural and synthetic fragrances allowing you to choose the best product for you. In fact we also have fragrance free products such as the Care Shampoo and Conditioner, so there is something to suit the whole family (round of applause for Naked).

 

I have sensitive skin, can I use your products?

All the products in the Naked range are at least 97% natural and are formulated to be extremely gentle, leaving out possible irritants such as sulphates and parabens. However if you have any history of skin problems or allergies you should carry out a patch test on your wrist or behind your ear prior to using any of our products for the first time.

 

I may have had an allergic reaction to one of your products, what should I do?

If you are concerned that you may have had or are having a reaction to one of our products, please email or call us for advice at reach.us@nakedbodycare.co.uk or 0800 028 7321. If in doubt please call your health care provider.

 

I have had my hair chemically straightened, can I use your products?

None of the Naked products have been tested on hair that has been treated in this way, so we suggest that you take the advice from your stylist on the best product to use. If you do choose to use Naked we’d love to know how you get on!

 

I used a Naked shampoo for the first time and my hair now feels unconditioned.

We sometimes find that customers need to get accustomed to the performance of our shampoos. If you have been using alternative brands that contain high levels of silicones or sulphates the hair may need a little time to ‘detox’ (just like after a night out with the girls). Residues can coat the hair shaft and it can take time to fully cleanse the hair of this build up and see the results. Therefore we recommend that you persevere with Naked for at least 8 washes.

 

I cannot find my favourite product, has it been discontinued?

We do hate disappointing our customers - it’s one of the worst things we can do! It’s up there with splinters and stubbed toes! Unfortunately we have to discontinue products from time to time due to weak sales.

Do you have free samples so I can try before I buy?
