Detoxing made easy

So, it’s the second week of January—how are those detoxing resolutions faring up? If you’re anything like us here at the Naked office, you could be struggling. Yeah yeah, we all have such good intentions of drinking less, eating less and exercising more, but no matter how strategically we hide those remaining Christmas chocolates it’s all-too easy to dig them out again. But, all is not lost—there are a few things you could do to make detoxing easier, and you needn’t reach for the wine in desperation just yet.
First things first—water. Increasing your intake of water can be a great way to flush out the system after all that Christmas indulgence, and just a few extra glasses a day could be all you need to do to give you glowing skin and make you feel generally fitter and healthier. Including a bit of extra exercise needn’t be that tricky either—use the stairs rather than the lift at work, get off the bus that extra stop early or simply go for an invigorating walk at the weekend to get the pulse racing. Or, if you’re a gym bunny, why not try out a group class? Exercising in a group can be a great way to increase your motivation and get you moving, and if you choose something like Zumba you can have fun while you exercise too.
